We went to the Air Show at Mather Air Park (usto be Mather Air Force Base) . You would think that, me being an AF Brat I would have been to many of them...NO...I haven't, in fact this was the first...Mike and I went with our daughter-in-law Suzanne & grandson Seth. (their picture is a the bottom of this post)

I must tell you...it was a very emotional experience for me...it was a wonderful show with the Blue Angels and all the big planes and booths with all of the branches of our homeland defense. We have a d aughter in the AF and a nephew (one of the kisd we raised) in the Marines (almost ready to retire, has spent 7 terms in the desert accross the pond.) Another nephew that we helped raise was in the AF too. He is retired now.

This weekend though, was a horse of another color all together...Sorting our storage area was hard work and sort of cathartic and sometimes a little meloncholy.

Mike will be working only through June...then we are on vacation for most of July, we will be going to Moscow, Idaho for the LOW conference. We will be in Oregon for two weeks in June for Kaley's Ballet recital and she has the lead part in "The Little Shop Of Horrors" that will be put on by the ""Little Ballet Theate", of which she is a member.

Yesterday and today we had no rain in the daytime...but we will be getting more rain starting tomorrow night. There has been some localized flooding, but not really too bad...They are expecting a more wide-spread flooding as this next seires of storms go through. But we are not having it nearly as bad as the south and mid-west is with the tornados...Hope you all are safe!
Good night everyone...I will try to get this BLOG thing straightened out in the morning...My Mind is blogged right now!
