This is New Melonis Lake near Angels Camp in the foothills of the Gold Country of Northern CA.














These next 2 pictures are of the sunset just past the lake outside of Jackson, CA. You can recognize the smokey sky from the Patterson, CA which has burned thusands and thousands of acers














The last one is taken above Auburn, CA in the gold Country as well...the next evening though. You can still see the smoke in the sunset!
