Let the Travel Begin

Thanksgiving was a great day...Mike and I got up fairly early and started working on the "Fruit Salad that we were to bring to Nancy and Hal's for dinner (Suzanne's Mom & Dad, Kaley's other Grand Parents). We finnished it and then I made a very nice Thanksgiving Breakfast of eggs (over medium), hash browns (crisp), bacon (just right) and a great whole wheat toast...toasted to perfection...I love to cook and Mike loves breakfast above all meals. All of this while watching the New York City, "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade"... Couldn't miss that!

We were to be at Nancy's house by 1:00PM so we arrived at the designated time. Actually
besides David, one of their sons, and Suzanne's brother, who spent Wednesday night, we were the first arrivals...That way you get the glasses of the BEST wine...it was very nice...

The first picture that I am shareing (above) is of Kaley and her cousin Megan (17 years old)sitting on the couch with Papa...Megan is the young lady that Kaley looks up to with awe and much anticipation ... Megan is a great Ballerina...She has been studying at a performing arts High School in Portland. She will graduate this year and, most probably attend the same type of college in New York. Megan also aspires to be a Pediatrition...as does Kaley...Now last year at this time Kaley wanted to be an Egyptologist/Anthropologist/Arceologist...So we will see...Oh yes...and dance too...

This next picture (to the Left) is of our generous hostess, Nancy and her youngest son David. They are standing in yhr middle of Nancy and Hal's Kitchen. Look at all that food on all the counters...there were only 13 of us....we all took lots of leftovers home...YUM-O!!!!!!!!!

Here is Kaley, Her Mom Suzanne and their Mini-Doxie "Penny". Waiting for the dinner bell......

Tom, Kaley's Daddy & our Son, was not there before dinner, he had to work 'till 2:30PM ...but here he is after dinner!!! Typical Male.... Posted by Picasa
