Let the Travel Begin

Thursday, November 09, 2006

This Crane flew in while I was waiting for Mike change the batteries at the RV Marine...(so far so good with those babies...just one so far is bad...) We were parked right beside the Warrenton Port...It is a beautiful day today...lots of billowey clouds but lots of sun too...When the sun comes our it makes everything look new...so bright with the vibrant colors of the PNW...As you can see in the next picture, I almost missed him as he flew away...He had pretty wing feathers...I didn't even see the color until I processed the pics on my computer...He was really pretty...I guess it was a "he"????

It is suppose to start raining again tomorrow and then on Sunday we are suppose to hqave another bad storm...not as long as the last one but we'll get about 2 more inches of rain in 24 hours...We purchased a DE Humidifier today from Sears...there were lots of people in there buying them this morning...it was really quite funny!

I finally got some shots of the area around us this morning...It is really a pretty spot...these were taken out the front and side windows of the coach...

I really hope we get wome wanderin' weather soon...I want to go to the beach, see the Peter Iredale...and Fort Stevens...Today would have been a good day but we are still getting the first stage of our "re-model" done!!!! That is what Mike calls it...I really wanted to remove all of the carpet and put the marble tiles through-out anyway...but this wasn't really the way or the timing that I had planned...LOLOLOL!!!!!!! Oh well, you know what they say about "man's" well made plans...............
The little fenced area you see to the left, well, that is a Tent Campibg Area...they are really nice... Posted by Picasa

    Charlie,

Remodeling.....that's a good one!!! It sounds like you are keeping up with all the trauma and moving on....just as it should be. Have fun tomorrow and then bolt down the hatches for the next round.

    Stay safe,

    Your friends in TX,
