Our spot at the Ranch was beautiful...we are very familiar with that place as we have been going there from time to time for 30 years...and our friends Ed and Susoe live and work there full time. So as you remember from our blogs we had a great time. We just couldn't believe we had "TAD" finally...we had waited and hoped for so long and it was truly worth the wait...we had gone fron dispair to exhiliaration every other day or so! We left the Ranch and drove "TAD" to our homebase in Sacramento to load the coach...see our kids and take off for the Oregon Coast for a rally with Escapees from Central Oregon...
Well as you remember going home was uneventful except for the troubles that we had with the towing device for our '"toad" we have loveingly named "Vetta", she is a VW Jetta you know!!! Mike always wanted a Corovette...so "Vetta" seemed approperate. We tried three times to get the right hook-up "plug"...to no avail ao Mike Jerry-rigged it so we could finnally get on the road...that was about 2:00PM...
We then headed for I-5...we got about 5 miles away from our "home base" and the Air Condidioner stopped...now you gotta know that the temp was about 101..so we pulled off the Freeway into some parkinglot and somehow Mike was able to get it started again...it seems that Izzy and her little friend Haley had had a great time pushing buttons in Papa's Cockpi...so we had to get things back in the right order so that we could stay cool in the hot weather.
I know that most of you have read about this before..but I will get too the point soon...
This picture is of "TAD" at the Ranch!!! Isn't He pretty...or I guess Handsome is the right title for such a "HUNK"!!!
