We thought this boat was unique...it is moored at the marina there at the Winchester Bay, Salmon Harbor Marina. I really took it for my son tom....I'm sure he will get a big kick put of it!
This pair of ducks was irresistable...we saw them all the time...weeven had to stop for them to cross the road once!

Then ... here are the ELK...I have been told for 4 years that there are ELK in Oregon...but I have NEVER seen them...'till yesterday on our way home...we took "38" from Reedsport to HWY 5 at Sutherlin...asnd "Lo-& Behold" there they were, lots of bulls by the creek... Posted by Picasa
We took a drive down the coast to Coos Bay...couldn't resist the bridge...it was beautiful...then there was the bridge that was making way for a fishing boat...she was opening up just for us I thibk...I didn't see a boat!!!

This is the Umpqua River Lighthouse...it is just above the dunes where we were watching the kids ride!

We were in middle of the Oregon Dunes State Recreation area...Mike and I enjoyed watching the ATVs, Quads & Sand Rails.

The Dunes are beautiful! I can't wait 'till some of my kids or grandkids get interested in this sport...it is fun to watch!

Then we ate, and ate, and ate...I think Dave was expecting the Spanish Armada...Man-O-Man ...did we eat...I think we made a dent in it but it took us two settings to "get-er-done". The Menu: Beef Brisket
Pulled Pork
Potato Salad
Macaroni Salad
Cole Slaw
Nice Soft Buns
Pepperocinis
Various Condiments
Little Torpedos (Mini-Eclairs)
Ant that Good Old Bailey's

Dave is really the Host with the most!!!!
