Here are some more of the fruits and veggies...there is a very large cointingency of Hispanics in this area, (don't you love the ladie's hands in this pic.) there are many crops grown and harvested in this area so the fresh produce and flowers are really fresh and mostly grown and harvested by Asians and Hispanics .

I am working on my photography...I went to one
class at the Escapade. These flowers and the man
and woman working with them were outstanding
subjects.
This is a lovely example of color...

This was just some necklaces that I thought were displayed nicely... I didn't know that there was a bycycle behind the display until I saw it on my computer. I love it when incidents like this happen...It made the picture have more intrest... Posted by Picasa

The Color Guard

The most important thing that we learned was that the
Organization it's self is very wholesome, patriotic and generally
fun to be around. The founders and leaders have sent down a
great heritage for us to follow.

The Staff and Directors, etc.

Mike and I went to several seminars. They were all great.

The weather the first 2 days was slightly cool and a little cloudy, but then the rest of the time it was "HOT". We saw a lot of Chico that we have never seen before...eventhough we have lived only 1 & 1/2 hours away for eons...and one of 0ur daughters went to college at Chico State.

We found a great BBQ restaraunt "Mo's BBQ":
The "Chico Escapade" was really good...we met lot's of people and learned so much more regarding our future adventure. Posted by Picasa
Well we are back from the "Chico Escapade"...They said that on Wednesday, "public Appreciation Day" There were around 2,000 ppl. there. We had, I think they said about 200 visitors...There were over 800 rigs and over 150 "walk-ins" like us.
