Well, here is the finnished products...I think they are great...I can't wait to see what they look like with candles in them in the dark...tomorrow night we'll see....
Here you see Kaley catching ladybugs INSIDE the coach...this place is crawling with them...they get into the house all the time...she was catching them and moving them to the outside...very gently!!!

You can see her "punkin" in the background... Posted by Picasa
Here's the seeds.....soaking in salt water...

Well I really don't know about this!!!I can't really tell if she is just lazy or she is just trying to get to the bottom of the "punkin".

Mike is hard at work, as you can see...he really lovesto do this kinda' stuff...

Here you see Mike is done and Kaley is half done...but we gotta go get some lunch......... Posted by Picasa
OK ... Now we are gonna carve "punkins" ... at least Mike and Kaley are ... so here goes ... this is Kaley's pattern ... You can see the table is covered with plastic ... it is too cold outside to do this little project so in the kitchen of the coach we are!!! Kaley has protective gloves on too ... so as to not get the "punkin" guts on her dainty little hands...LOLOL

Do I really have to put my hands down inside that thing???? YUCK!!!!! But she did it ... and I might say that she had fun as well ...

Oh yes there I am sorting the "punkin seeds from the "punkin" guts ... so we can roast them on Halloween evening ...

Here's a good shot of the two of them gettin'-after-it, so-to-speak!!! You'll notice that they have changed into shirts that they can get the guts on ... thank goodness ... makes laundry lots easier!!! Posted by Picasa
Just couldn't help but show you some more color form the PNW!!!! This hill is right behind our coach ...
This was taken while crossing the bridge into Astoria the other day...is that unique or what? I just love shots like this!!!

Then this georgeous trees is in the park next to Astoria High School ... who by the way is undefeated in football this year ...
More of that lovely tree ... I have been watching it ever since it started turning ... the color is wonderful!

This is another picture of the hill behind our coach...if you look real close you can see a little spec of blue...in the bottom middle...that's our little home!!! The picture was taken from about 2 miles away... Posted by Picasa

The BURNING BUSH...wha-da-ya-think??? I just thought it was beautiful...So you have to see it too!!!

Just some more pretty trees...this was taken where they are building some new condos...right above the ocean...the views are glorious...

This is one of them !!!

Now this is a BIG tanker...I hope to get a closer shot if I get to see it when it comes back down the river...It was a great day...I went home and scrapbooked all evening...

Oh yea...we went to the Cottage Bakery in Longbeach...yyyuuuummmm..we got some great rye bread to have with our veggie/beef soup we had left-over form Monday...We had it again weith our breakfast again this morning...it is so goods!!! Their cookies are wonderful too!!!!!!!!!

I usually have clam chowder there sometimes too...but I haven't had any yet...gotta do that!!! Posted by Picasa
Since we couldn't see the bogs while they were harvesting I took these pictures of a painting on the side of a building in Long Beach, which is where the bogs that we looked at are found...

Now this is a store that I have never been in...but Mike comments on this little Phrase..."This shop is every man's nightmare"...so I just had to take a picture of it!
Now here is a pice of twild life that we have been able to see here in the PNW...what do you think of that little bear...isn't he cute??? Posted by Picasa
Yesterday we went exploring again...we attended the cranberrian Fair a week or so ago but we never made it out to the bogs...so today we did...they have finnished the harvesting so all we could see was where they had been but there was a museum that we went through and it was really interesting...

This picture is for Gordon and Juanita...no huckleberries though!!! Must not be the season!!! This bush was right at the beginning of the walking tour of the bogs...

Now this is what the bogs look like when they have finnished harvesting...it is still a beautiful color of cranberry.... I think they use part of these dried vines to plant for next year's crop...I could be wrong...but I think so from what I read in the museum

They do have a gift shop in the museum too with lots of little cranberry stuff...it was cold yesterday do we didn't go on the self guided walking tour and since the harvest was over there wasn't much to look at!!! Posted by Picasa

Does anyone have any news on my "KINGS"...if you do leave a comment...please?!?!?!?

The weather up here has been glorious...some rain but lots of sunshine...I know that these great days are numbered though...so we try to enjoy them all we can...It is very cool though ... getting cooler by the day!!!

In this last picture you can see that Mike and Kaley are up their old self-portraits again...they are so cute...don't you think? LOLOLOL Posted by Picasa
Well, here we are at Fultano's Pizza Place...every Monday they have "All You Can Eat Pizza & Salad"...now there is a DEAL...so we always go there on Monday nights...with Tom, Suzanne and Kaley...this time Suzanne (Suzanne's friend), Randy and Emily joined us... In this first pic you can see Tom, Mike, Suzanne and her friend Suzanne...they are paying for our dinner!!! They have the greatest pizza...I just love it!!! Their salad bar is also the greatest!!!
Here is Em and Kaley...aren't they the cutest...they are on break from the dance studio...so that's the reason for the gethering every Monday night...we get to see the girls for an hour or so, and have a "great-cheep" dinner as well...

Here's the girls putting away some of that wonderful pizza...

Now Mike and Suzanne have joined them... In this town...this IS the place to be for dinner on Monday nights! Posted by Picasa

This is the view out our front window in the evening... right at sundown!!! Posted by Picasa
Now you will see some more shots of that glorious sun set...I am telling you...I really am gonna hate to move the first of the month... I know that we will be safer and I will have internet in the coach, will be able to use my cook-top,but what we have had here on the eage of the river has been wonderful!!! You never know when you are not able to see these things, what you have missed...but once you see it you are forever spoiled...Our view will change...but I know that the new view from my front window will be different but great!!!

Can you believe these colors??? It was almost breathtaking!!!! Posted by Picasa
